中国土工合成材料工程协会学者首获《Geotextiles and Geomembranes》年度最佳论文奖

  近日,国际土工合成材料领域权威期刊《Geotextiles and Geomembranes》正式公布了2024年度最佳论文奖(Best Paper Award)评选结果。中国土工合成材料工程协会常务理事、武汉大学邹维列教授(通讯作者)与协会青年工作委员会委员、河海大学樊科伟副教授(第一作者)等合作完成的论文“Laboratory investigation and theoretical analysis of lateral pressure exerted by expansive soils on retaining walls with expanded polystyrene geofoam block upon water infiltration”荣获该奖项。
  该研究通过系统的室内试验与理论分析,深入探讨了采用膨胀聚苯乙烯土工泡沫板(EPS)作为减压缓冲层的挡土结构,在墙后回填膨胀土受到水分入渗作用条件下,其侧向土压力的演化机制。研究成果明确了EPS材料在显著减小膨胀土侧向膨胀压力方面的有效性,并创新性地提出了基于挡土结构-EPS-膨胀土相互作用机制的侧向土压力预测理论。相关成果不仅为膨胀土地区减压支挡结构工程的设计与安全控制提供了理论依据,也为推广应用土工泡沫板在其它复杂地质环境中的减压作用提供了新的思路。
  国际土工合成材料学会(IGS)自2005年设立《Geotextiles and Geomembranes》年度最佳论文奖以来,已累计评选出24篇优秀获奖论文(见附录)。本次是该奖项历史上首次由来自中国单位的学者摘得,不仅展现了我国在土工合成材料前沿研究领域取得的持续进展,更标志着中国科研团队在国际学术舞台上竞争力与影响力的显著提升,必将激励更多中国学者在国际学术舞台发出更强音,进一步推动国内外学术交流与合作,促进相关技术在实际工程中的应用与推广。
